Salinity and Groundwater Mapping - Published: 18 Dec 2006
A $4.6 million project is currently underway to improve our understanding of salinity processes and groundwater systems in the lower Central West Catchment, from Rawsonville Bridge (between Dubbo and Narromine) to Carinda, in a 40-80km wide corridor following the Macquarie River.  It is being conducted ina partnershiop between the Central West Catchment Management Authority (CWCMA) and the Australian Government - Department of the Environment and Heritage, and Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry, through the Bureau of Rural Sciences (BRS). more ..
