Council Comment - November Council News

As the year comes to an end, I reflect on the last 12 months - as a community we have gone from drought, COVID-19 to floods. It has been a huge year but we have come together and shown our resilience. We were quick to have one of the highest COVID-19 vaccination rates in NSW and these recent weather events once again were a display of the Warren Shire community spirit. I am proud to be part of such a caring community.

Don't forget that our Australia Day Award nominations are open, it's your chance to recognise an unsung Shire hero - more information below.

With the festive season around the corner, Council's Administration Office, Service NSW Agency, Library and Works Depot will close at the end of business on Friday, 24 December 2021 and reopen on Tuesday, 4 January 2022.

On behalf on Council and residents, we thank the current Councillors for their service to the Warren Shire community and wish them every success in all future endeavours.

We wish everyone in the Shire a happy and safe festive break and wonderful 2022.

Gary Woodman

GENERAL MANAGER
