Council Provides Free Water for Rural Properties

27 August 2018

Warren Shire Councillors at their meeting on Thursday 23rd August 2018, approved the provision of free water for rural land users at a rate of 10,000 litres per month to help in meeting water needs for families and stock.

The Mayor indicated that as the drought tightens that Council would like to support rural people who have over many years supported Council with water to grade and build roads.  It is time Council helped out and provided free water back to the rural properties.

Free water up to 10,000 litres per month can be collected at Council's Ellengerah Water Tanks (end of Dubbo Street) or at the Nevertire stand pipe.

Please contact Council for collection times.

The form below will need to be completed prior to collection.
