Recent Works
Building Levee: Nevertire Cemetery.
Flood Emergency Works: Buddabadah Road.
Rehabilitation Work: Old Warren Road and Collie-Trangie Road.
Grading: Merrigal Road, Notts Lane and Colane Road.
Grading/Flood Damage Works: Greentree Road.
Pulling Out Grids: Booka Road.
Patching: Marthaguy Road, Carinda Road, Oxley Highway, Tottenham Road, Wambianna Road and Lemongrove Road.
Reseal: Ellengerah Road and Udora Road.
Slashing: Collie-Trangie Road, Collie Road, Bourbah Road, Ellengerah Road and Old Warren Road.
Road Maintenance and Construction Schedule
Upcoming maintenance and rehabilitation works include:
- Elsinore Road, Old Warren Road, Burrima Boardwalk Access Road Construction, Collie-Trangie Road, Warren Road, Oxley Highway, Merrigal Road, Pineclump Soldiers Road, Colane Road, Marra Road and Booka Road.
Capital Works in Progress
- Investigation and design work for CBD Improvement Program.
- Warren Road reconstruction, including new culverts, widening of the road, and pavement rehabilitation. Installation of culverts is to commence in May 2023.
- Rehabilitation of Segment 18 of Collie-Trangie Road funded by the REPAIR Program 2022/2023.
- Gravel re-sheeting of Old Warren Road is ongoing.
- Replacement of Newe Park Bridge and Marthaguy Creek Bridge under the Bridges Renewal Program and the NSW Government’s Fixing Country Roads Grant.
