Recent Works
Various Flood Damage Works: Oxley Highway, Ellerslie Road, Ringorah Road, Pleasant View Lane, Collie-Trangie Road, Yungundi Road, Collie Road, Merrigal Road, Christies Lane, Pine Clump Soldiers Road and Old Warren Road.
Shoulder Grading: Marthaguy Road.
Ripping and Shape: Bundemar Road and Castlebar Road.
Patching: Marthaguy Road, Carinda Road, Wambianna Road, Oxley Highway, Ellengerah Road, Tottenham Road, Industrial Access Road, Old Warren Road and Warren Road.
Spraying and Guideposting: Tottenham Road and Nevertire-Bogan Road.
Signs: Warren Shire.
Slashing: Oxley Highway, Wambianna Road, Collie-Trangie Road, Collie Road, Old Warren Road and Tottenham Road.
Road Maintenance and Construction Schedule
Upcoming maintenance grading and rehabilitation works scheduled for January/February 2022 include:
- Gradgery Lane, Duffity Lane, Old Warren Road, Ellengerah Road, Wonbobbie Lane, Cullenburrawang Road, Gibson Way and Carinda Road.
*Flood Damage Works Program being developed.
Capital Works in Progress
- Construction of Segment 30 of Old Warren Road funded by variations of Fixing Local Roads Round 3 funding after cost savings.
- Investigation and design work for CBD Improvement Program.
- Warren Road reconstruction, including new culverts, widening of the road, and pavement rehabilitation. Culverts have been ordered and are expected to be delivered from January-March 2023.
- Rehabilitation of Segment 18 of Collie-Trangie Road funded by the REPAIR Program 2022/2023.
- Gravel re-sheeting of Old Warren Road.
- Reseals of local roads and town streets to commence in 2023.
- Replacement of Newe Park Bridge and Marthaguy Creek Bridge under the Bridges Renewal Program. Currently awaiting additional funding from Fixing Country Roads Grant.
