Recent Works

Construction and sealing: Burrima Walkway.

Floodways clean up: Carinda Road.

Grading: Lamps Road, Hall Road, Old Warren Road and Booka Road

Patching: Marthaguy Road, Udora Road, Collie-Trangie Road including pavement repair over culverts, Carinda Road, Bullagreen Lane, Trangie Street Nevertire, Wambianna Road, town streets and Warren Road.

Signs and guide posting: Marthaguy Road, Bullagreen Lane, Warren Road, Carinda Road, Buckiinguy Road, Marra Road, Lemongrove Road, Booka Road, Ellengerah Road, Industrial Access Road, Collie-Trangie Road and Collie Road.

Bridge deck and guard rail works: Marthaguy Road, Carinda Road, Industrial Access Road, Ellengerah Road and Old Warren Road.

Floodworks: Udora Road, Nellievale Road, Oxley Road and Booka Road.

Gravel resheeting: Old Warren Road (Segments 34 and 32).

Slashing: Carinda Road, Marra Road, Collie Road, Collie-Trangie Road, and Bourbah Road.

 

Road Maintenance and Construction Schedule 

Upcoming maintenance and rehabilitation works include: 

  • Marthaguy Road, Carinda Road, Oxley Highway, Warren Road, Pleasant View Lane, Pine Clump Soldiers Road, Booka Road and Billybingbone Road.
  • Dubbo Street AC works.
  • Dragon Cowal causeway.

 

Capital Works in Progress

  • Construction of Segment 30 of Old Warren Road, funded by variations of Fixing Local Roads Round 3 after cost savings, has now been completed
  • Investigation and design work for CBD Improvement Program.
  • Warren Road reconstruction, including new culverts, widening of the road, and pavement rehabilitation. Culvert installation has commenced. Toucan Pit Material for the project is currently being pushed up and mixed.
  • Rehabilitation of Segment 18 of Collie-Trangie Road is completed, funded by the REPAIR Program 2022/2023.
  • Gravel re-sheeting of Old Warren Road is ongoing.
  • Replacement of Newe Park Bridge and Marthaguy Creek Bridge under the Bridges Renewal Program and the NSW Government’s Fixing Country Roads Grant. Preliminary investigatory power pole relocation and land acquisition are being progressed.
