Recent Works

Rehabilitation work and back grading: Warren Road. 

Flood Rehabilitation and Shoulder work: Gibson Way, Christie Lane, Billybingbone Road.

Edge repair: Collie-Trangie Road. 

Patching: Carinda Road, Collie-Trangie, Oxley Highway (SH-11)

Fixing and Picking up signs:  Wambianna, Collie-Trangie, Carinda, Oxley Highway (SH-11).

Escorting Patching truck: Oxley Highway. 

 

Road Maintenance and Construction Schedule 

Upcoming maintenance and rehabilitation works include: 

  • Flood work rehabilitation at SR-36 Gibson Way and MR-7516 Billybingbone Road. 
  • Slashing and pothole maintenance on the Oxley Highway (HW-11) to be completed as part of Christmas holiday preparations.
  • Heavy Patching Work on approximately 48 sections on the Oxley Highway (SH-11). Marking of segments by TfNSW is underway.

 

Capital Works in Progress

  • Monkey Creek Bird view platform work in progress. Planning and design have been completed. Contractor mobilised on site. Pedestal concrete work is ongoing.
  • Warren Road reconstruction, including new culverts, widening of the road, and pavement rehabilitation has been completed. Planning for line marking is underway. 
  • Line marking is planned on recently completed sealed and resealed urban and rural roads.
  • Oxley Highway (SH-11) pothole repair program under Routine Maintenance Council Contract (RMCC).
  • Five Mile Cowal Bridge rehabilitation and shoulder reinstated under Work Order from TfNSW. Shoulder re-sheeting, reseal work and guardrail replacement completed on the bridge. TfNSW approved the completed work after final inspection. Preparation for the claim and documentation have commenced.
  • Dragon Cowal perforated culvert and causeway project at Merrigal Road is completed, and rip-rap and site clearance work are advancing.
  • Assessment and scoping of Nevertire-Bogan work including sapling removal, culvert replacement and pavement rehabilitation is ongoing.
  • Regional Emergency Roads Repair Program assessment and scoping has been completed. 
  • Footpath replacement, and kerb and gutter renewal works are ongoing.
  • Kerb and channel including stormwater drainage has been successfully completed at Industrial Access Road and Old Warren Road Intersection.
